How To Wash Your Gear
The easiest way to wash your Grubbybub gear is - don't! Our fabric is super awesome, and most mud/dirt etc will simply brush off once dry.
Spot Wipe:
- Hosing or rinsing off, damp cloth, baby wipes all work very well while you're on the go.
Machine Wash:
- Use a gentle, cool cycle. Wash inside out to clean lining.
Don't Forget:
- your gear comes in a watertight bag. Pop it in the bag after play and sort out the wash later.
Drying Your Gear
Puddle Suits:
- Hang your suit to dry
- If you've washed the lining, line dry your puddle suit inside out, then turn right side out to finish
Grubberalls:
- Hang to dry
Detergents
AVOID detergents. Detergents deteriorate all waterproof fabrics, so avoiding these will prolong the lifetime of your gear.
Use a small amount of gentle wool wash etc only when necessary, i.e. to clean the lining.

How To Wash Your GumBooties
Rinse:
- We recommened a quick rinse in the sink for lightly dirtied GumBooties
Machine Wash:
- For very dirty GumBooties, use a gentle, cold cycle
Drying Your GumBooties
Easy!
- Simply hang on clothesline or place in well ventilated spot until dry.
Detergents
AVOID detergents. Detergents deteriorate all waterproof fabrics, so avoiding these will prolong the lifetime of your gear.
